Ma première pensée, en écrivant sur cet album, comment pourrais-je les appeler, un groupe de folk irlandais? Cette revoir d’alun dans FolkAll m’a donné la réponse: un groupe Cajun / Americana / Zydeco bien que les racines irlandaises brillent à travers et c’est une bonne chose.
Être en vacances pour une période de deux semaines, voir la beauté du pays le jour et la vie de pub le soir et la nuit, grimper par-dessus la porte du camping quand nous l’avons trouvée déjà fermée à minuit. J’adore la vie de pub avec tant de divertissements musicaux.
Voir le groupe Two Time Polka deux fois au festival ZydecoZity m’a fait plaisir.

Two Time Polka, Cajun / Americana & Zydeco with an Irish Folk flavour.
My first thought, writing about this album, how would I call them, An Irish Folk band? This album review in FolkAll gave me the answer: Cajun / Americana / Zydeco band although the Irish roots shine trough and that’s a good thing.
Being on holiday in Ireland for a two weeks period, seeing the beauty of the country at daytime and the pub life in the evening and night time, climbing over the camping gate when we found it already closed at midnight. Love the pub life whit so much musical entertainment.
Seeing the band Two Time Polka twice at the ZydecoZity festival made me happy.
This week I received the album “New Road”. (note, all roads leading to a pub somehow) You find a nice review at FolkAll.

Two Time Polka, Cajun / Americana & Zydeco met een Irish Folk-smaak.
Mijn eerste gedachte toen ik over dit album schreef, hoe zou ik ze dan een Ierse folkband noemen? Deze recensie in FolkAll gaf me het antwoord: Cajun / Americana / Zydeco-band hoewel de Ierse roots doorschijnen en dat is maar goed ook.
Twee weken op vakantie zijn in Ierland, overdag de schoonheid van het land zien en ‘s avonds en’ s nachts het kroegleven, over het hek van de camping klimmen toen we merkten dat het al om middernacht gesloten was. Ik hou van het pub leven met zoveel muzikaal entertainment.
Het maakte me blij om de band Two Time Polka twee keer te zien op het ZydecoZity festival.
